Just watched the Kew film – fascinating! A bit Cholmondley Warner, but the colour is great. It reminds me of the Book Club gardening books from the 1950's & 60's, with the really vivid, almost poster-like repro! Lovely time lapse too.
hi Paul! it's wonderful, isn't it… and uncannily didn't feel too out of date, either: things don't change very much in gardening really, do they. You can look at it two ways – either we're part of a wonderful time continuum helping sustain the customs of ages, or there's nothing new under the sun!http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/gardening/2010/12/this-week-in-the-garden-7.shtmlin case anyone else wants to take a look 😀
